How Sleep Can Seriously Impact Your Life

Do you often to get a bad day and you wondering what happened in your life? What if I tell you that if there is something you could fix that will change your life? One of the life hack that most of people don’t know is fixing their sleep.

A study by Harvard Public Health says that there is a relation between your mood and your sleep time. The research found that if a person has enough rest, at least 7 to 9 hours sleep a day, they will have a better mood compare to people who sleep less. Hence, after a sleepless night, you will notice that you will easily get irritated, short-tempered, and easily get stressed.

Lack of sleep also can impact on your long term health issue, including:

  • Get sick easily (low immunity)
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure / hypertension
  • Reduce sex drive

The ideal sleeping hours would be sometime between 8 p.m to 10 p.m. When you sleep earlier, you will wake up in a fresh condition in which boost your brain function including memory, problem solving, decision making, and your alertness.

In fact, not only health can affect mood, but mood and your emotion can also affect your health. A study also found that stress, negative mood, and anxiety can affect your health in general.

Feeling of negative mood can seriously impact your body immunity function and leads to several risk of cardiovascular such as stroke.

If you don’t have enough sleep at weekdays, try to add extra few hours on your weekend to payback the sleepless night you had on weekdays. By doing this, it will help to reset your sleeping schedule back to normal by the end of weekend.

Most of the society nowadays tend to ignore their resting time. Either they prioritize their work life, chasing of ambition which makes them forget the most important aspect in their life, health. These are the challenges, but it is important to understand how simple thing such as having enough rest can make a huge different.

All you need is just get enough sleep every night. If you maintain the 7 hours sleep everyday in which you sleep earlier, your brain will memorize this activity and it will become a routine. Your life will definitely better off after maintaining this habit.
